Toppy V Shape

The Toppy V Shape is a high production and rugged machine for replacing pallets. The unique V-shape configuration can securely hold boxes, bags, drums, buckets, and other materials in position while the pallet is being replaced.

The V Shape is engineered to provide important advantages over conventional pallet inverters.

• All above ground installation—no expensive pit required.
• The load can be inserted and removed with a pallet jack or forklift.
• The pallet does not have to be physically lifted by an operator.
• The pallet is replaced away from the product, eliminating the risk of material damage with a forklift.
• The V Shape can securely handle almost any type of load.
• The hydraulic system lifts and lowers the load while an electric motor operates the upper plate.
• Two versions are available: standard or automatic.
• A complete mechanical and electrical safety barrier is standard in the automatic model.
• The V Shape can be easily integrated with conveyor and logistics systems.

Machine Operation
The pallet with the load is placed on the lower platform by using a pallet jack or a forklift. At the start of the cycle, a clamping device secures the pallet to the platform. The upper platform then moves down until a photo sensor detects the load. The load is then lifted and rotated backwards.

With the load in the tilted position, the lower platform moves back to the floor carrying the pallet. The operator then replaces the pallet with a pallet jack or forklift. The V Shape lifts the platform again and places the new pallet under the load. The load with the new pallet is then lowered to the floor ready for removal.
